Sharing Kathina 2015
Thank you to all of the about 40 people who attended Kathina, and supported the Sangha/vihāra.
The Bhikkhunis chanted paritta for more than 3 hours on the evening of the Oct 30th, blessing all the people in attendance, and also all over the world. On Oct.31 people came from 8:30AM to 3PM. The customary kathina robe was offered by Indira Gunasekera. In addition, many everyday items where generously donated to the vihāra.

There were talks on many topics, including the meaning of kathina, purpose of meditation, Buddha puja, and dāna.

The following day many of the nuns went to the Charlotte vihāra in order to celebrate kathina there.
